Oromo Students of Hara Maya University Commemorated “Ginbot 20” with Grief and Sorrow
(OLF News, June 02, 2009) Our correspondent from Eastern Oromia reported that the gallant Oromo students of Hara Maya university commemorated “Ginbot 20” (May 28, 2009) with grief and sorrow, contrary to the wishes of the TPLF dominated regime in Ethiopia who claims that the day they take control of the Ethiopian empire is the day of victory and the day the Ethiopian population is “librated from the fascist regime”. The TPLF regime would have liked that all Ethiopian people celebrate that day as the day democracy rained over Ethiopia. The Oromo population in general, and the heroic Oromo students in particular know for sure that the day EPRDF entered Finfinnee (Addis Ababa) is nothing than one flesh eating hyena is replaced by a rather more hungry hyena. Although the Oromo do not choose one master over the other, it is a historical fact that the current fascist and racist regime of Meles Zenawi is the worst of all Ethiopian dictatorial rulers for the Oromos.
The heroic Oromo students of Hara Maya university, while commemorating the day EPRDF entered Finfinnee as the day another round, and the worst subjugation is imposed on the Oromo people. On this day the Oromo people is reminded to renew their commitment and intensify the liberation struggle. The Oromo students of Hara Maya University on their part once again renewed their commitment of standing by the side of the Oromo people’s struggle for freedom and justice in all its manifestations.
